Removing Emails and/or Banning Members
 

I have been fighting Spam and Bots and I have been wanting to do something but I am not sure how to do it exactly:

Most of the spam that I get is from gmail.com or .ru so can I do this?

Check the Agressive Email Box and then enter the @gmail.com in the email banning box?

It says that a problem will occur but I am tired of those email extensions.

What exactly will happen if I do it because I have a lot of members?

Will the legit members that use gmail just be forced to enter a new extension?

In other words...what is the best way to handle this cituation because I would like to ban all of the bots and spammers because even though they dont all post* they are indexing sites and such from their profiles?
