Can I put a password or code on new registrations?
 

I closed registrations due to an overwhelming amount of spam and have been manually creating accounts for new users. However* the boards are becoming more active and this is not the most efficient way to handle this.

Our members are all coming from a specific source and I'd like to set up the boards so that new members can register by using a password or code that we give them. Is this possible? If anyone has a better idea/solution I'd be happy to hear it.
