Converting all phpbb3 *.file attacements to correct name + Extension
 

I used IMPEX to convert all my phpbb3 forum to vbulletin. All went perfectly okay* but the attachements failed.
The message couldnt find attachement jake.jpg or something similar.

My phpbb3 attachement path is domain.com/files and in there are all the files named 23457564j32w3j4io6j.file and so on.
I don't know that much about PHP but I've looked them up in the db and found the correct file names* simply renaming doesn't work as I assume something is going on when it runs through file.php to output the images.

Is there a script or something I need to do to ensure that these attachments come through to VB properly? As It's a lot of data i'd lose else.
