VB 3.7 upgrade and adding Joomla I'm planning a VB upgrade from 3.7 to the latest VB version. Right now the site is a forum only and we want to add content as needed. Most do NOT know any html so we are going to go woth Joomla as a CMS. So heres the rub. The VB is currently installed in the root directory of the provider. I'd like to move VB to a subfolder* htdocs/VBulletin. Install Joomla into the root where it needs to be and bridge the two together using the one database from VB. So what do I need to do to move VB to the sub-directory and not lose any forum content?? Do I install the upgrade into the subdirectory and just reconfigure VB to look for the database at its location?? Couldn't be quite that SIMPLE I'm thinking... NO?? Many Thx |
