My suggestions from what I've seen so far
 

This looks really good* but it could always use improvement. Here are some of my suggestions off the top of my head:
- add OPENID login/registration features (Google* OpenID* AIM* Yahoo etc.)
- add more default modules to the CMS (article slideshow* who is online* buddies* polls* rss feeds* etc.)
- not sure if this is possible yet* but allow CMS to have multiple pages (front pages) that can have different permissions so for example if we wanted we could have an official front page that is updates by administrators* and a user front page that is updated by members.
- add user customization of CMS layout and modules
- add increase reputation of publisher to articles and more publisher information
- add article galleries so an article can be accompanied by a gallery relevant to the article published
- create a blog style layout for published articles on the front page similar to many gaming sites such as www.gamespy.com (seems there is already this style)

I'm sure a lot of this stuff will be improved by the mod community as well* do we have the ability to make plugins and mods for the CMS as well as the forums? keep up the hard work!
