I like the CMS home page* but there is some improvement needed with home page content nav so that it's more of the content quarterback rather than only a featured content promo page. Beyond featured & latest content* it doesn't serve much more of purpose* IMO* than does the Navigation Widgets. At least as currently displayed on vB.

I'd like to see it serve as a table of contents so that the depth of the content is promoted as much as the latest additions. My preference would be to dedicate more screen real estate towards article title lists. The latest 10 or 20 articles in each section with descriptions* not previews. Section home pages display all titles (with descriptions) in it's container. The option to limit the preview text a bit so that there is a clear difference between CMS home page table of contents and a blog* which the current home page seams to mimic.
