.htacess question
 

I recently upgraded from 3.8.2 to 3.8.4p1. Aside from some documentation issues* the actual script level upgrade went smoothly.

I am having an issue that I think is related to the .htaccess file.

website.com/forums will not load index.php automatically.

as long as you use website.com/forums/index.php it's all good* which of course the entrance to the site does.....

It's just that if someone is used to typing website.com/forums (like me) you get a blank page.

I'm a bit new to linux so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to solve this. I'm very experienced with IIS/ASP environments and this is ordinarily not having your default file present.
