Multimedia – Change Thumbnail
 

First of all* thanks for a great forum. We installed phpwebsite last February (2009) and have had many of our questions answered by searching phpwsforums.com. However* we have not had any luck finding an answer for our current challenge.

To the point: Can we change the thumbnail for each multimedia video we upload into the file cabinet without using the FFMpeg feature/software?

We are using phpwebsite 1.6.3 and file cabinet 2.2.7.
We have a .flv video loaded in the multimedia folders of file cabinet.
We go to “Edit Multimedia” and “change thumbnail”. When we “upload” the thumbnail* we receive a “Could not save thumbnail image” message.

The image is 99 pixels by 98 pixels and is a .jpg

We did see in /mod/filecabinet/inc/settings.php that there is a line:
‘multimedia_thumbnail’ => false*
This was changed to ‘true’* but did not make a difference.
