Image attachments: resize override option?
 

I'd like an option for my more advanced members to be able to specify that a given attachment is uploaded and stored/attached full-size (a detailed drawing* diagram* or detail photo that needs more resolution to be clear for example). At the same time I would like to resize all "general" photo attachments (that aren't specifically selected to post full size) to a smaller size to conserve server disk space and bandwidth.

Now that more and more people have fast connections* I'm getting more users who are posting images straight out of their cameras. I don't want to keep all these photos at 10 megapixel resolution on the server* but would like to make it as easy as possible for them to upload* have the server resize them down to web-resolution* and attach them at a nice size for general viewing of general photographs.

But I'd still like the option for someone with a detailed drawing to be able to check a checkbox and upload and attach that image at full size.
