Always show notification menu
 

I'm trying to customize my forum and am looking to make the notification menu to where it is always shown (like it is here).

I'm pretty sure that a simple drop-down much like the regular menu will work. I just need somemone to back me up on this and reassure me that I'm correct in my assumption.

So* having said that* anyone care to back me up? :)
