Merging two forums together
 

Hi everyone. If this question has been answered / addressed previously* I humbly apologize but couldn't find it through the search function.

I have two active forums one being version 3.8.4 PL1 that has it's own forum members* topics* and categories and then I have another forum that is version 2.3.2 again with it's own members* topics* etc.

What I want to do is combine all of them into the forum that is the 3.8 version and will soon be the 4.X version.

Are there instructions or a "how-to" somewhere on how I can migrate the old version forum into the new one?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. From what I've read* perhaps "impex" might be the solution?
