small number of users getting this db error
 

Most of our users are able to access our boards with no problem. However* a small subset get a page that says there is a db problem or a blank page.

This is the error message from the page source:

MySQL Error : MySQL server has gone away
Error Number : 2006

Any idea what is causing a small portion of the users to get this error?
