Any chance of Last Post post icons changing on forumhome?
 

This is something that's been bugging me about vB ever since switching from UBB. The forumhome is much more static than it could be with a very small addition; namely* the Last Post post icons changing.

As it is currently* the post icon from the first post in the thread always displays in the Last Post column. In longer threads* moods inside threads often change greatly from the initial post* so always seeing the angry post icon next to the last post (just because that was the post icon used in the first post) makes little sense. What SHOULD be used is the post icon from the actual Last Post. So every time you view forumhome* you can see some change via the post icons in the Last Post column. That makes it easy to spot the change in the mood inside a thread if people start using smile or thumbs up post icons (for example) in the later posts. It gives you a bit of an idea about the actual content of the Last Post right on forumhome* instead of having no clue until you actually read it* and it makes forumhome feel more dynamic as the icons can change with every post. It also greatly extends the usability of post icons - because without their use on forumhome* they really have little value.

Going from the old UBB to vB* this was actually one of the things that our users missed the most (me included* it still bugs me!)* so here's hoping it can be revived.
