Character problems after move
 

Hi there* I moved servers and in prep I backed up the database and then reinstalled it on to the new server

everything works fine but for the special characters

copyright sign or the superscripted "TM"

how can I correct this* please?

under phpadmin

MySQL charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)

MySQL connection collation: UTF8_general_ci

should the UTF8_general_ci be changed to UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
