User Interface "settings"
 

OK I finally figured out that "settings" is the old "user cp." Both terms are equally meaningless to a regular forum member.

This screen is the member's (not "user*" please* a forum member is far more than that) dashboard. Ideally it is the first spot they visit - new pm's* updates to sub'd threads* sub'd forums* reps* all the links to options and profile design as well as settings ... it is a great screen! :) So why would it be hidden under the un-descriptive term "settings?" A more personalized and appealing click-me sort of name is needed. I renamed the link "My Panel" on my forum.

I had the hardest time getting my members to learn about the excellent service this screen provides because the they had no idea what "user cp" meant. Changing to "My Panel" upped usage alot on my forum. It led members to learning about subbing threads. I am sure there is a better name* but "settings" ain't it.
