Seriously guys! You know better than to complain this much.
 

All the immature criticism and early speculation before a final and mature version is released is quite shameful.

Although I don't 'like' the new graphic designs and layout. It's still the default VB4 theme. I'm sure that more than three quarters of you guys are going to apply a custom design anyhow.

Other than suggestions* bugs* and customer support issues* I wouldn't be too quick to press the panic button and leave the new vbulletin team.

In regards to the change in pricing for the new vbulletin products* what did you really expect? I'm sure that the vbulletin developers are working MUCH harder and longer right now than the former vbulletin team has in quite a while. Have you seriously forgotten that time equates to money? Not to mention that along with a large shift of staff replacement equates to multiple changes in the product(s).

It all bottles down to common sense folks. I think it's more logical to sit back and provide meaningful and suggestive comments while staying put as a customer.

I think that some people live in the past and are afraid of needed change.

I think that everything will be much better off considering an entire new staff* coders* designers* etc.

I think it's safe to assume that current speculation in regards to the rapid evolving VB4 suite should be kept in accordance with it's time line. In other words* a lot is changing and is going to change in the months to come. There is no point in leaving or discontinuing your membership for the vbulletin product when it's still in testing stages let alone not gold yet. The fact is that vbulletin will not be the same as it is now in the few months to come.

On a personal note* I think it's extremely annoying and belligerent for some of you guys despite how many years you've been a part of the vbulletin community and customer to attack these new developers from vbulletin solutions.

How many of you guys actually are owners of successful active community forums? Or better yet* how many of you guys have ever acquired another website community? It's crucial in maintaining a successful website by keeping it's user base while promoting new users as well. There is NOTHING more devastating to a website other than it's interactivity rapidly diminish.

By you leaving this community and new project team from vbulletin* you're actually destroying what could be an even better forum and community based solution.

Again* this is all common sense. To me* if I were upset about a product or design* I would continue to contribute myself to make it a better solution. If you're quick to complain and to close the book* who really aided in it's destruction? Nobody would be to blame but yourself.

All in all* you should treat others as you wish to be treated. Authentic respect goes a long way in today's online communities considering that it's extremely hard to come by.
