Idea: An easy way to hide Join Date and Post Count from messages
 

I'm running a forum where some people sometimes feel that there's a level of cliquishness. Some users who have been members for a long time may have a tendency to dominate discussions. As a minor step towards giving all users the feeling of 'being on the same level'* we want to hide join date and post count from showing up next to each post...

Frankly* I don't understand why users want to have such info presented every time they read a message anyway. That area could be useful for other types of info - which also would be a good reason to have an option to remove Join Date and Post Count from the messages.

What do others think?
