Is it just me* or does the green checkmark showing a user is online not look like an online status when glancing at the thread? I know it is and most people would* but for visitors or newbies...

When new users or visitors come to your site* are they going to assume it means that user is validated somehow* hence the checkmark? And then want to know how to get validated* or what they did to get validated? Not sure why it wouldn't just be a simple green glow - the size and color seem to be fine - just remove the checkmark. I have to answer questions on stupid little things like that all the time and it just seems like the checkmark invites a bunch of wasteful questions... possibly like this one. :p Just wondering....
