Character Limits on VBulletin
 

Apologies if this is in the wrong place* but this forum would not let me post this question in the Q&A section

I post on a forum in the UK that has recently upgraded to VBulletin 3.8.4

The default character limit for that board was set at 10K characters per post* considerably less than the previous board.

If the character limit was upped to say 80k what performance issues could occur* assuming few people make posts that big

I am also a member of a complete different board* that has used VBulletin for quite a while and the admin who knows more about it is unreachable so I was advised by another member of that forum to find a VBulletin forum and ask this question there.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place* but I needed to find technical details before approaching the admins on the forum that has upgraded.
