A Realistic Upgrade Process
 

Before we could run a test instance of vb when testing mods/styles* etc before a major upgrade. With vb4* we can no longer do this.

So my question is.....

If I upgrade to vb4* can I still run my 3.x version while I test the mods out on vb4 and style changes before I upgrade? Hopefully there's a way to do testing before we actually upgrade our sites.

Has anyone put together an upgrade "best practices" sort of document out yet?
