Release date:
According to some there was an official announcement made for Quarter 4 this year.

DEMO:
Demo should be up within 2 weeks from now* so end of oktober* begin November.

Upgrade:
If you have a active forum license* meaning paid upgrade etc. and you have a year+ paid this will be deducted from the upgrade fee. I paid $90 for a $130 upgrade because I had paid till november 2010.

Payment:
From what I understand it sounds like you pay for version upgrades* any v4 update should be free after you buy a v4 license. No more annual subscriptions. Not sure how big the version jumps will be before you have to pay again.

Plugins* mods VBSEO* Photopost compatible:
This depends ont he devlopers* but most succesfull mods and plugins will probably be updated. Don't expect them to work on the same day v4 is released.
