Have a heart* Jelsoft!!! Do something nice and give the community a break! How many people here are long time owners and are getting screwed just because they let the support fee go for a few months? Couldn't you grandfather people in who have had a lifetime license for 5 years or more* or something? What you're doing is just cruel. No one who has owned a board that long should be penalized for being loyal and sticking with vB all these years. :( I'd like to continue saying good things about vBulletin and even recommending it to people* as I have always done* but you're going to make that pretty tough. I'll gladly pay a more reasonable renewal fee* but I don't believe I should have to pay for an entirely new license* just because I didn't need your help or any files for awhile after I upgraded to 3.8.x. That just sucks!!! At least give it to us for $60 bucks* or something. That would be a little more fair and affordable. Treating long time customers like this is just wrong* without at least giving us fair warning. |
