Don't want to upgrade yet: Options? Hi all* I was hoping someone could explain as the latest announcements have left me somewhat confused. We have a current vbulletin license which is listed in my members area as Status / Type Active vBulletin Forum Expiry Nov 23rd '09 The last time I renewed I paid: Owned License Renewal @ 40.00 USD Is the Expiry date above the date the license expires or the date for support for the license expires? I'd be happy to purchase VB4.0 and had always intended on doing so but does this mean that I'll have to have upgraded the software by 23rd November? I don't mind paying for a VB4.0 license this month (as it's 50% discounted) but does that license also cover older installs? I seriously doubt I'll have time to convert my site theme and modifications all over to VB4.0 by the 23rd Novemeber and would rather put in a lot more testing before switching the software over. What happens if we're still using the old version of VB even if I've bought a license for V4.0? Any help or details on how to get an official response would be great. Cheers |
