Merging forums

I am running 2 vbulletin forums (due to not extending the license I have no access to the other boards) and what I want to do now is to merge these two boards but I dont want that users get merged together or just created another user with the imported_ prefix I just want that every user stays the same. Is there any solution for this? Alternatively I could also live with a solution that does something like that: I have two databases with users (in both there could be a user eg. named "JohnX") both all the other things are shared between the forums.

Would be really great if there is finally a solution for that because besides that vb is perfect :).
