MySQL Test Script
 

Hello. I soon plan to get vB* but before that I just want to ask:

I downloaded the php test script* and got a pass for all* except one thing. I just wanted to make this right before I go anywhere:

magic_quotes_gpc should be off for optimal performance* ask your host to change this in php.ini

How do I do this?

Also* sorry but I'm new to this whole thing* but when I install vB will it automatically make the correct tables in the database* or do I have to do it?

EDIT: Oh yeah* can you edit the forum codes* like the actual pages used on the server?

EDIT 2: Is it free to update versions* like when vB 4 comes out?
