Moderators Custom Forum Views & Post Patrolling
 

Problem: 1000 posts a day* and a small clique that starts causing trouble. How can my moderator team quickly and easily monitor their posts?

Solution: Custom Forum Views & Post Patrolling!

1: Create Searches (For Moderators Only)

• See posts by users x* y* and z.
• See posts by users with less than 5 posts.
• See posts by users that joined in the last x hours.

2: Execute Search
Display the posts in their entirety. Have links to view the entire thread for times when context is necessary.

3: Mark Post as Reviewed
I browse the list of posts and check off each one as reviewed. Once approved* these posts will be hidden from the search view. There should* of course* be an option to show already reviewed posts.

Bonus Points: Let us mark posts as "watch". This would help us easily find potentially troublesome posts or give other moderators a chance to see them in their queue.

Bonus Points #2: Have a "Report Post" link. A moderator can click the link* fill out a reason in a pop-up* and start a new thread in the moderator forum without leaving the queue.
