vBulletin Error - unsupported form of compression
 

I've installed this script on my website:
http://suda.co.uk/projects/SEHL/

It calls for using these two lines in the .htaccess file:
php_value auto_prepend_file "header.inc"
php_value auto_append_file "footer.inc"

These two lines are causing an error with vBulletin. The forums will not load and displays this error message:

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
Any suggestions for getting these two scripts to work together? Or at least allow me to have this on the rest of the site except the forums if necessary.
