Am I missing something here* or is there really not any sort of hook location when a payment is processed/completed?

I would think it's fairly common for people to "do something" when they receive a payment.

Am I missing something or just blind? It seems to me* there should be *some* sort of hook in payment_gateway.php... Can someone at least confirm there is no way to do this so I can stop looking? lol
