Signatures don't show

On my forum the signatures aren't visible anymore. Yes the forum has plugins but even when I disable them all (define('DISABLE_HOOKS'* true);) the signatures still don't show.
Can you please tell me what I absolutely have to check (what needs to be where)? I want the signatures back...
