Anti-spam usergroup permission -- Cannot post URLs anywhere
 

Have a new user group permission: Cannot Post URLs Anywhere

This would apply if the URL is linked or if they try to post the URL without linking it (spammers do this). It would also apply to placing a URL in the [img] tag to show an image (spammers do this too). It would disallow posting URLs in posts* VMs* PMs* built-in or custom profile fields* signatures -- anywhere. (spammers have been targeting VMs* profile fields and PMs on my forums because they are not as easy to patrol as forum posts)

You would set this permission to "no" for your new users usergroup* and promote them to another usergroup after a little bit of activity.

This could also be extended to posting email addesses* which some spammers post instead of URLs.
