Un-repairable "phrase" table error after upgrade

I was wondering if someone could help me out with this...
I upgraded from version 3.7.1 to 3.8.4 and am now running into an error on my boards:

Here's the error on the repair/optimize tables tool in vbulletin:

Error: Table './svc/phrase' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

I went into the mysql admin and did a repair and optimize table* but it's not working either.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this to work or repair it? I'm trying to avoid going back and reverting to my saved version* but at this point... I don't know.
