Database Problems?
 

I moved my forum to a new host recently and upgraded to 3.8.4 from 3.8.3* and now the forum is unusably slow. I have access to several different internet connections and machines* but it is slow on all of them. Users are emailing me telling me they cannot get in.

The web host has checked and says there are no problems. I can get to other sites quickly.

Strangely* the admincp is easily accessible and very fast.

This makes me think that maybe something in the database is corrupted.

Does that sound like a reasonable diagnosis at least at this point* and does anyone have any suggestions that might help me troubleshoot the issue?
