Ban expired* automatically moves to a different usergroup?

One last one that I can think of.

As the forum would be using pre-mod is there a way that if a user is banned for a certain time* who doesn't require their posts to be placed in pre-mod. That once the ban has expired it sets them back to the user group that would require pre-mod instead of the user group they were in prior.

Does that make sense?
