Is there any way to increase the time for saving/displaying of "new posts"? Currently it is limited to 10 days?

Is there a way to keep new posts untill I mark them to dissappear?

Is it possible to have all ‘new posts’ automatically be simultaneously listed in a second thread that is purely chronological of all posts no matter what category or thread they are placed in?
