Moving vBulletin I am doing a complete rebuild of my website. I am moving to another domain and doing a complete design. I am going to integrate vBulletin into my new website. I don't want to shut down my current website, because this process may take several weeks to get working. In the mean time I will need vBulletin on my new domain so that I can setup all of the stuff. How can I do this without messing with my license? If I upload to the new domain, the forum will be closed to the public until the website is ready to open. Before the website will be opened the old forum will be taken offline, and the database transported to the new database server. Is it against the rule for me to have vBulletin on my new domain as long as its closed? I wish I could test this on my own computer, but I have no idea how to install PHP or MySQL or anything on my personal computer. So I need to do it online. |
