Just a suggestion from a user's angle!
 

My view after 2 years in love with this phpws:
- First I have to thank the team who have worked hard day and night to make this website source code freely available for people like us to use.
- Now some comment on the software: I think the 1.0 version was created with the mindset of openness and it gives user a big room for creativeness. While this openness for creative is a good point, on the other hand, it is the constraint for phpws to become more popular. People have to learn, or at least to spend really some good time to understand how the code works, before they can create the website the way they want.
Starting from scratch, my learning curve has been an exciting journey. I have learned a lot in the past 2 years. However, it is also painful some time as when I made mistake and lost data.
A point on theme. In my view, theme is very important. It is the face of any source code. People look at the theme first before they decide to try and to be able to assess the source code. I think we did not focus enough on theme in 1.0 version. Most of the themes are old, and there are not much choice. I don't want to spend so much time on theme, but don't know how to get good one for my site.
- My suggestion:
User friendliness should be one of the focus areas if we want to make phpws popular.
Secondly, theme should be available with more choice. I think some people are willing to pay to have good theme.

Last, thank you all for all the great works with this coming 2.0 version.
