Users User-selected options for New Posts and subscribed threads
 

My users are clamoring for these self-selected options. They want to select for themselves these options for New Posts & User CP sub'd threads.

- how many days of unread threads are included
- sort options

This is huge for them >>>
- how posts are statused to come off their list in New Posts and User CP sub'd threads. Some want to retain for so many days a thread they have read, others want it to come off. Same for threads to which they have posted.
- per the above, user options for the bold vs unbold display of threads

The current categorization in New Posts of old unread threads sorted under a descriptive separation is good. This would also be a good option for those who want to retain threads that have been viewed or posted, that is, have a separation with a description.

These suggestions can sound kind of picky. But they are at the core of the user's experience of the forum. Very helpful both to those who are on the forum quite a bit and to those who visit only occasionally. :)
