Considering Lifetime License
 

Hi all! I'm considering a lifetime license after using IPB for the past 5 years. I'm starting a new community and had some questions.

1. With the advent of 4.0 will the Admin Panel be redone to be similar to IPB's panel? I really never liked Vbulletins AP as it is currently stands. Too confusing. I guess I'm spoiled by IPB's nice setup. Are there any screen shots I can gander at?

2. Is installing the board is as easy as IPB? Upload the files, click install, and that's it? Just wondering if there are IPB owners here that could give their input on this.

3. Should I buy now, or wait until 4.0? What are the advantages of buying it now?

4. How easy is it to install/remove modifications? I'm trying to avoid file edits. Although I have done it over the years with great success its just too much when you are always upgrading to the latest version.
