Upgrading vbulletin from v3.6.8 to v3.8.4 issue
 

Initially I had problems uploading the patch (v 3.8.4 ) to our site. For some reason it kept on timing out. Anyway, I ran the update.php file which displayed dialog box requiring our customer number. I enter a number then clicked on next upgrade system button. At the bottom right of the next screen there was a next step 1/5 button which I click when prompted to. When I click Next 5/5 (step) button I was redirected to the adminCP. After logging in to the adminCP I noticed that the admin control panel is still at version 3.6 8 patch level 2. This is the same version control panel that start with.

When I opened the upgrade.php file the first thing you see is vBulletin 3.8.4 - Licence Number XXXXXXXXXX. So I assume all the files were update because I did not receive any errors during the last upload.

Any help with resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.
