CMS File, Video & Downloads system
 

To allow sites to host their own Video directory, Files & Downloads system, a Jelsoft addon would be very welcome.

As two of the most used vb.org addons, Downloads II, LDM and various video directories, these addons have many thousands of installs. This indicates that a Downloads system is a much wanted feature. The fact that competing forum software have decided to offer a Downloads addon since 2005, also indicates this is something popular.

This feature has been requested many times, as can be found in a large number of threads here on vb.com The first request was made in 2002.

Now that vbulletin 4 is coming with a CMS, this would be an excellent reason to add a Video, Files & Downloads directory addon.

I would be interested in what others think about this suggestion.
