Multiplying 2 Variables I am trying to create a small hack. The hack displays, the total of Threads made multiplied by thread views of a particular user. Not sure If I am on the right track... So far have this. $vbphrase[total_read] Essentially I want to add to postbit, My threads have been read : 4,571 times So I think the variables i need are $post and $views However I need to ensure these are conditioned for that users, threads they have created and the view total of each of those threads, and then multiply the 2 together, and output the answer as listed above. Ive never dabbled with phrases and variables. So any help appreciated. Other code I have looked at ( possibly totally wrong lol is ) $totalread=($post*$views) $vbphrase[total_read]: $totalread[total_read] If you get what I am saying then please help. Essentially the result will look like this: My threads have been read : 4,571 times Where is the total of 4,571 post x views Obviously want to it to multiply THREADS x VIEWS ( but I think the correct variable for threads is in fact post ? if I am not mistaken. This needs to be displayed in each users postbit, so will need to be conditioned I think. Anyhoo, any help appreciated. Ste |
