Changing servers and problem importing new mySQL DB
 

Hi,

I've taken a dump of my current DB (via SSH) and copied it across to the new server and gunzipped it.

However when I try to import the .sql file into a new (empty) DB I have created I get the error:

ERROR 1044 (42000) at line 20: Access denied for user 'newserver_username'@'localhost' to database 'oldserver_dbname'


Where:
newserver_username = New username with access to the new (currently empty) DB
oldserver_dbname = The DB name from the old server

Do the new (currently empty) DB and username have to be the same as the old DB and username?

Note: I have taken out the actual names of the DB / usernames
