Database Hoping someone here is some better knowledge on this than I do as my host is being an arse right now. Will be moving next month! My database is currently at just under 400MB, and I am getting a lot of SQL DB errors. Now my host said this is because my db is too large and the server I am on only has 512MB of RAM. Now my question is simple, and also probably has a simple answer lol. Do those numbers coincide with each other. Meaning IF my db size reaches 512MB it's 'full up' and I won't be able to add anymore data? Reason I really need to know, is I need to understand if I should be upgrading my RAM. When I move servers, is the RAM figure something I really need to take into consideration in order to stop all these damn sql db errors. Thanks in advance for any advice. |
