Errors After Moving From Windows Server To Linux Server I have been running vBullatin 3.7.4 and vPortal 3.7.0 for some time on a Windows server. Now I have moved to a linux server and I am trying to migrate my vbportal and vbulletin. After backing up my files and database from the old server I uploaded them and restored to the new server. The folder structure is the same as it was on the old server: The vbportal folder is called "rmvb" and is on the site root. The vbbulletin folder is called "forums" and is in the vbportal folder. The database name has changed and I have updated this in the config.php file. The portal address is www.rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/ and the forum address is www.rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/forums/ When i navigate to the portal address I get the following errors Code: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/mynikit1/public_html/rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/global.php(927) : eval()'d code on line 2 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/mynikit1/public_html/rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/global.php(927) : eval()'d code on line 2 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/mynikit1/public_html/rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/footer.php(59) : eval()'d code on line 33 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/mynikit1/public_html/rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/global.php(1098) : eval()'d code on line 2 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mynikit1/public_html/rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/global.php(927) : eval()'d code:2) in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 3010 When navigating to the forum I get the following error Code: Warning: require_once(C:\Inetpub\vhosts\rconmax.co.uk\httpd ocs\rmvb\global.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/global.php(614) : eval()'d code on line 1 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\rconmax.co.uk\httpdocs\rmvb\glo bal.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/mynikit1/public_html/rconmax.co.uk/rmvb/forums/global.php(614) : eval()'d code on line 1 I am familiar with computers & programming but I do not know or understand php :( Just as a test I did a brand new install with the latest versions of vbPortal and vBulletin and this seemed to work fine, so I presume that during the installation vbportal / vbulletin have written folder paths etc to the database and or files and these will need updating. How can this be best resolved? Please can some one help? |
