vBulletin Database errors
 

We have been receiving plenty of the following errors since moving to a new server (see error example below).

I have emailed the provider asking them to increase the concurrent connections to the database to resolve this problem

And received the following reply from them:

The main problem here is that vBulletin is using pconnect which is "persistent connections" - this means that a connection to MySQL stays open longer than it should. You need to change this to 'connect' and things should start performing a whole lot better right away.
