COPPA problem I originally had COPPA turned on. One of my users decided to register while it was on. He is 12. I have sinced turned it off, moved him to Registered Users and he is still receiving e-mails, like: > Dear Parent/Guardian of XXXXX, > > XXXXX has just modified their account at TorontoSportsFever.com Forums. This can be found at: > > http://forum.bluejayfever.com/index.php > > This email has been sent to you because XXXXX has stated that they are younger than 13 years of age and TorontoSportsFever.com Forums is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). > > To find out more about COPPA, please visit this page: > http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1999/10/childfinal.htm > > Please read the TorontoSportsFever.com Forums Privacy Statement also: > > > XXXXX's profile can be viewed at: > > http://forum.bluejayfever.com//member.php?u=XXXXX > > We thank you for helping us in keeping the privacy of children on the internet. > > All the best, > TorontoSportsFever.com Forums How do we stop this? |
