Styles and mods question
 

I will upgrade to 4.0 when it comes out. But I have heard that it may take some time to get styles and mods ported over. I have 3.8.4 right now. Now on my old smf forum. I know most mods where written with the default in mind. If you used these mods sometimes they would not work with custom styles. Is that the way with VB? Or are they all compatible with each styles the mods that is? If I do mod it and change the style how hard will it be when 4.0 comes out to change everything over or should I just leave the style alone right now till then?
