Social Groups Add indication of character limit while posting to discussions
 

When typing a post in social group discussions, there is no indication that there's any character limit until after you've tried to post. That's just an un-user-friendly UI.

If there's a character limit, I think notice of this fact should be made on the posting form very near the text box.

Ideally there should also be a 'live' character count so we can keep track of what we're typing. (Especially these days, as Twitter and similar interfaces like have gotten us used to seeing character counts.)
