not all new users go to List Users Awaiting Moderation
 

Hi there,

I have a question regarding new registered users. I hope someone might have an answer ^^

When new users register they should all automatically go to the "List Users Awaiting Moderation" list

But not all of them do that.
I keep seeing new registered users appearing in the 'List New Registrations' without me accepting them or deleting them. So they appear there unmoderated.

Is this perhaps a bug, or could it be a simple setting I've overlooked when changing the settings for registered users to moderated.

It seems so randomly. A lot of those spam accounts seem to slip through the moderation part.

Coppa is enabled
Moderate New Members is enabled

Not sure why it's happening.
Any thoughts on this? It would be very welcome.
It's easier to remove a whole list of spammers from the moderated user list, then from the registered userlist. :)

I just tried to change the coppa registration system to: 'deny registrations for users aged under 13 years' - but after a test registration, it was immediately put into the 'registered users list', and not in the 'awaiting moderation list'.

Dito when I change it to: Disable Coppa.
All three functions seem to make no difference in the problem.
Could it perhaps be a bug?
