How can Soso Spider access site when IP is blocked?
 

I have a persistent spider that I feel has no business on my site. The culprit is Soso Spider with an IP of 124.115.0.109. I have blocked the whole range (deny from 124.114.0.0 - 124.115.255.255) in .htaccess, but that spider continues to visit my site. I have also blocked soso.com and sogou.com (same company - deny from sogou.com and deny from soso.com).

My .htaccess file works just fine. I have tested it on myself and others and blocking domains, IPs, partial IPs and IP ranges all work very well. But apparently not with Soso.

Any insight or ideas?
